You knew that it was going to happen again (maybe not so soon…) I’ve been playing around with the theme again.

I sort of like this one, but it looks very different in explorer vs firefox. I’m not sure what it might look like in other browsers. Please let me know what you think. I have another theme that I might try out in the next week or so – let me know what you like and don’t like about each. I know that some people don’t like it when there is a dark background with light words, and my eyes really don’t like the bright white backgrounds…I know that you can’t make everyone happy…but you’d think that I could find a theme that I’m satisfied with wouldn’t you!?

No new knitting to report. I’ve been spending that time on gardening and playing on the computer instead! However, I have been ‘thinking’ about knitting if that can count! I joined the 6 Sox KAL yahoo group. Shanda and Sherri told me about it awhile back and I finally decided that I’d do it. I’ve had some fun tonight looking through the archives at some of the older patterns, and I’m looking forward to seeing what the next pattern will be. Maybe there will be some sock knitting in my future again. It is strange, I love to knit socks usually, but I haven’t been very interested in them this spring. In fact, I am still on the heel flap of the first jaywalker that I started in January! I haven’t touched it since I started the Nantucket sweater (I need to get back to that one soon too!)

Remember the sunburn from a few weeks ago (I guess it has been a month!)? Well, it is just now starting to peel on my upper arms! Just when I was starting to think that I was going to be fine. I’ll have to be sure to remember the sunscreen this weekend in Seattle! I hope that the weather is nice and sunny.

Work was just crazy today, not necessarily busy…just crazy and hectic. “…I never could get the hang of Thursdays” It seemed that nothing really went smoothly, not necessarily wrong or bad, just nothing was easily accomplished all day. And just when I thought that I might get off more than an hour early, I found out that a coworker did need my help, so I went to the clinic and helped out and ended up in overtime instead. I did have fun though, it was nice to be back in the clinic, and it reminded me of why I love working in the hospital so much!
